Good looks are everything these days. The person who projects a healthy and beautiful personal image subconsciously makes the best impression and is treated as successful and happy. Good looks often win in the competitive battle, bidding wars not to mention relationships. In today’s competitive society, people recognize the importance of self-improvement, which includes your presentability and appearance, whether for social or professional reasons.Plastic surgery now gives people a unique chance to change their lives! Many people that are dissatisfied with some physical attributes or body features see cosmetic surgery as a solution to a happy and successful living.

Michigan cosmetic surgeons just like their colleagues in Beverly Hills or Hollywood offer every plastic surgery service available on the market today, from common procedures like breast lift, nose jobs or breast augmentation to very multiplex and challenging surgeries that require the most up-to-date microsurgical techniques like complex wound surgeries or burn reconstruction. California ceased to be America’s best or only spot for professional cosmetic surgery same as plastic surgery itself ceased to be celebrities’ realm and whim! Now, in your home state, you can get the same quality of cosmetic surgery services as celebrities in Hollywood are getting!

In a sense, cosmetic surgery now offers regular people a tremendous opportunity to defy both the age and genetics. It boosts your self-esteem, gives your positivism and life energy. This is something no money can buy and who knows - maybe one day other people would like to know how you managed to improve your life so dramatically - which makes you guess who? Right - a celebrity!

Jewelry is a very special gift that can be used to commemorate a special occasion. If you’ve been with your partner for a long time then you could use jewelry to commemorate this achievement. Jewelry says love, and also shows the significance of such an event. If you’ve seen anniversary rings in the shops then you may be tempted with them, however these aren’t exactly uncommon. Lots of people give anniversary rings, so they’re no where unique enough to celebrate such an occasion. You don’t have to go with a design which has already been made, you can instead create your own custom design.

Be Unique

It might seem as if you have to choose one of these pieces of jewelry off the shelf, however you do have other options. Just by looking in your hometown you should be able to find quite a few great options. There are lots of adverts in most local newspapers for custom designed jewelry. If you’ve been a little confused what this means then perhaps you should think about it. This basically means that the jeweler creates unique designer jewelry to suit a specific person.

A custom jewelry designer will sit down with you to help you find out what sort of design would suit you best. They will be able to assist you in deciding on the perfect design for a pair of earrings, broach, pendant or ring. You should also carefully select the stones that you want to use in your piece of jewelry so that you can get a perfect design.

Another interesting benefit of going to a designer is that they will take the time out to understand exactly what you need. Diamond jewelry is very special and deserves some time being spent on it. If you choose carefully you will be able to select a piece of jewelry that will last a lifetime, something that you can pass down through your family. You may already have heirlooms that you hate, but maybe it will be different this time.

In addition to custom jewelry, don’t forget to take a look at antique engagement, wedding, and anniversary rings. You don’t have to settle for a mass produced piece of jewelry which everyone else has, actually you can get unique and interesting jewelry if you are a little more picky. Choosing the right jewelry will be able to commemorate this special occasion properly. You should only go to shops which have good reputations, you don’t want to get disappointed. - Ray Walberg

Ancient Markings - Acrylic Painting

This acrylic art painting created by Kimberly Collins caught my attention because of its beauty. This is an unframed piece of art that is meant to be hanged that way. Costing less than $3,000, this piece of art is somethings that’s up for grabs. A complete bargain in my opinion.

Choosing a great gift gets harder and harder each year, doesn’t it? I remember it being so easy when I was a child. All I had to do was scrape together a few pennies and toddle off to the shops to find my Dad’s preferred bar of chocolate, a bunch of flowers for my Mum, some sparkly bangles for my sister and that was my Christmas gift list sorted. Birthdays were the same …either chocolate, flowers or jewellery - depending on who I was buying for. Come to think of it, maybe I was just an unimaginative child! Perhaps all the other children saved their pocket money for ages and bought their parents the gifts they actually deserved.

Since my childhood, I have found that buying a gift has become harder each year. Especially now I’m married. What should I buy my other half each year for her Birthday? I also need to think of some Christmas presents, something for our Wedding anniversary and now we have a baby boy too so that means I’d better not forget to buy her a Mother’s day present and card as he’s too little to toddle off to the shops for himself. No doubt when he’s old enough he’ll do the same as I did when I was young. Hopefully he’ll be a little more creative than I was!

I like to make the effort when buying a gift. There is nothing better than giving the best gift ever and seeing a loved-ones face light up. The problem is that it is so easy to run out of ideas. Hopefully this list will inspire you so you never have to run out at the last minute to buy a box of chocolates again!

1. Print a photo on a mug. You have shared so many special memories with everyone you know. Many of your memories are even sitting right there on the hard drive of your computer so why not get a photo printed onto a mug and print a special message for the recipient on the mug too? I’m going to order a couple of these for my grandparents at christmas with a family picture on them…they will love it!

2. A Beach Bag! If you need to think of a gift for someone during the summer, a beach bag is great idea - and not too expensive. My mum is always on holiday and loves bags. Problem solved me thinks!

3. A box of chocolates. Only joking! A personalised teddy bear. Well, I suppose you could give a box of chocolates, and a personalised teddy! These are great fun and are sure to become any child’s favourite teddy. What I like about these is that they come in a range of colours. So if you are looking for a christening present then blue or pink would be the colour of choice.

4. A jigsaw puzzle. You probably know at least one person who enjoys a puzzle. My nan does - I remember sitting with her for hours trying to solve massive jigsaw puzzles. I’m sure she used to put the easiest bits near me though! You could even create your own jigsaw to make it extra special, or extra difficult maybe!

5. Dinner Placemats. When an old friend moves into a new home you always need a good housewarming present. When my wife and I moved into our new house we expected a bottle of wine from everyone who came to our housewarming…it goes without saying, doesn’t it? But if you wanted to give something a little bit special, how about a set of 6 photo place mats for your friend’s dinner table. Each one printed with a photo of a mutual friend that you wouldn’t mind seeing at your friend’s first dinner party in their new home!

6. A new mouse mat. Design your own mouse mat, or let your kids draw out a design and scan it into your computer. Then, print it onto a mouse mat. Maybe you could create a collage of photos, or your children’s ‘artwork’ and have it printed onto personalised mousemats to send to your relatives.

7. A new clock. I think a new clock is a great gift idea for housewarmings and Christmas. Whenever the recipient looks at the clock they will remember who gave it to them. It doesn’t have to be an antique either! A stylish modern photo clock will look good in any room of any home.

8. A new purse. This will cover any female in your family. I know for a fact that my wife, mum and sisters always want a new purse…even when they’ve only just bought one!

9. Personalised photo keyrings If I had been more imaginative as a child when buying gifts, even I could have afforded one of these personalised photo keyrings. What’s more, everyone in the family would have wanted one so there would have been no need for me to leave the house (had the internet been invented then!).

10. A slogan t-shirt Print a message or slogan onto a t-shirt for a bit of fun. These make excellent gifts for the best-man at your wedding, or even the bride and groom… - Ben Williamson

A good golf swing produces a good shot, period. The biomechanics of the golf swing is not a bunch of random parts. No one, and I mean no one, can learn to swing as a series of move this, then this, then this, now this, & then that. It has got to be something that just happens, without conscious thought. The good news is that you probably have a good athletic setup and all you need is to brush it up and be more relaxed. An athletic golf stance and setup is the launching pad for your swing.

The Swing

The left foot is slightly open as this makes it easier for the body to follow through. The right foot should be placed straight forward from the body, at a right angle to the line of flight, so that when you swing the weight will come on the inside of the foot to be able to push away and do the follow through. This position will make your arms hang comfortably in front of your body, to be able to swing more freely. The backswing now starts with the initial rotation - shoulders, hips, hands and arms - an almost simultaneous movement. The downswing begins by pushing your weight from right to left and rotating the body and hips. Remember it is a swing and not a hit. And that is how to perform the perfect golf swing. See, it’s that easy. (Stop yelling, I’m just joking!)

The Ball

How do you set up to the ball? There isn’t one prescribed ball position, but most of the better players have a ball position that is toward the instep of the left foot. Addressing the ball, both arms are straight but relaxed, and the left shoulder is higher than the right due to the position of the hands. The hands are slightly in front of the ball. After addressing the ball, start your pivot by shifting back to your right foot. On impact the hips are turned with the shoulders parallel to the ball. The ball is said to leave the tee at about 140 mph with a backspin of fifty to sixty rotations per second. Just recall the fantastic feeling when you hit a great shot and imagine that feeling happening every time you hit the ball.

Tips

Every night on the Golf Channel, there are new tips to try. The magazines have new tips every month. Now with the advent of the Internet, online golf tips are rampant. You can get the info to help you delivered to you in seconds, if you want.

Shots

For an average golfer, on a Par 72, you would conceivably hit 14 drives, 4 fairway woods, 18 mid to short iron shots, and 36 putts. Overall, you can help your golf swing a lot more by hitting 30 to 40 shots in a practice session than hammering 60-100 balls in the same amount of time. Because a truly great swing is judged by how the missed shots turn out. After all, even Ben Hogan admitted to only hitting a few “perfect” shots per round.

The classic golf swing is grooved through practice As long as you’re working on the fundamentals, you’ll be working toward developing a consistently good golf swing. The best golfers in the world spend 6-8 hour a day learning the complexities of the traditional golf swing. Getting overwhelmed with swing mechanics will get you farther away from your goal of a proper golf swing. The range is where you do the work; the course is where you play. There’s more to golf than your swing.

Every relationship has its milestones - the first date, the first kiss, meeting the parents, and, of course, moving in together. The latter can be potentially overwhelming for those who have never lived with a partner before and have gotten so used to living independently, the way most singles are. The transition is particularly more difficult for men rather than women. If you’re a woman about to go on the adventure of moving in with a man for the first time, you’re in for a wild ride.

What To Expect

Just because a man suggested or agreed that you move in together doesn’t mean that he’s particularly happy or even sure about it. Man like being men, and though he might love you enough to want to share a life with you, there are still some things that he can’t let go. Indeed, expect your man to have second thoughts and be quite difficult at some point. This is but natural.

What To Do

In order to make the transition of living together as smooth as possible for both you and your man, talk it over before you take the plunge. He might not be very keen to do so, but it’s important that you have ‘The Talk’ so insist on it. Don’t nag, however, or you’ll find your man running the other way.

When you do have ‘The Talk’ listen to your man’s expectations and make him listen to yours. Naturally, you will come across a few things that won’t be acceptable to the other. In this case, you need to compromise. For example, your man might like to go out with his buddies on Wednesday nights for ‘guy stuff’. Make it crystal clear that you won’t tolerate cheating of any sort - or any wild behavior, for that matter. You might not be able to get him to follow a curfew, but you could agree on him calling you if he’ll be late. Similarly, if your man doesn’t like you spending hours on the computer every night, you can compromise to considerably cut down your Internet usage.

You have to make sure, however, that in the effort to compromise, you don’t end up compromising yourself, your feelings, and your beliefs. This can be achieved with constant communication, transparency, and honesty - the very things that make a relationship work successfully.

What To Give

When moving in together, both parties need to be able to contribute something to make the relationship even more enjoyable and to make your life together as comfortable as possible. A contribution could be anything, really, as long as it’s beneficial to both of you.

You can contribute household essentials such as furniture and decorations. Just make sure that it fits both of your tastes. You can divide chores equally among yourselves so no one feels taken advantage of. You can contribute to pay bills and other responsibilities.

Most of all, when moving in together, the best contributions you could give to each other are love, companionship, and loyalty. All these would make your life together as blissful as can be imagined.

I find Pizza with Swiss Chard and Bacon very special and consider it one of my favorites so I’d to share the recipe to you. I originally found this recipe in Yahoo. I hope you’ll also love it!

You will need the following ingredients:

1. 1/2 pound sliced bacon
2. 1 1/2 pounds Swiss chard, stems and tough ribs removed, leaves cut into 1/2-inch-wide ribbons
3. 1/2 pound Fontina or mild provolone cheese, shredded
4. Salt and freshly ground pepper
5. 1 pound pizza dough, at room temperature
6. 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil

Pizza
Cooking it is also very easy. Here are the cooking directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F. Preheat a pizza stone or generously oil a large baking sheet. In a large skillet, cook the bacon over high heat until browned and most of the fat is rendered, about 6 minutes. Drain on paper towels and let cool, then break the bacon into 1-inch pieces.

2.Pour off all but 1 tablespoon of the bacon fat from the skillet and heat until shimmering. In a large heatproof bowl, toss the Swiss chard with the hot fat. Add the bacon and half of the cheese, season with salt and pepper and toss well.

3.On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough to a rough 14-inch round. Transfer it to a floured pizza peel or rimless cookie sheet, or to the oiled baking sheet. Spoon the Swiss chard topping over the pizza, leaving a 1-inch border of dough. Brush the border with the olive oil. Scatter the remaining cheese on top.

4.Slide the pizza onto the hot stone, if using, and bake for about 10 minutes on the stone or 16 minutes on the baking sheet, until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling. Transfer the pizza to a rack and let cool slightly before serving.

Egyptian Art

This is a great Egyptian art which features Nefertari Merytmut who was the queen and wife of Ramesses the Great. She was married to Ramesses at the age of thirteen and they had at four sons and two daughters. Nefertari literally means Beautiful Companion and she is one of the well known queens of Egypt. Nefertari was quite probably the only Egyptian royal wife, other than Queen Tiy, to be deified during her lifetime.
